Because of our concern for global health, we are committed to the abolition of nuclear weapons, the prevention of war, the promotion of nonviolent means of conflict resolution and social justice in a sustainable world.

Working Principles

The Working Principles represent positions on issues within the orbit of our mission on which we have reached agreement. Members can feel confident that they can work on these issues in the name of the organization. This is an evolving, dynamic statement, not fixed for all time. We will attempt to live by these principles as well as to advocate for social change.

To accomplish the ends in the Mission Statement, we are agreed on the following:
