The primary focus of our organization since its inception has been on the complete disarmament of nuclear weapons which could destroy civilization in a few hours. This remains our most urgent task.

We endorse the 1996 Advisory Opinion of the International Court of Justice that states that, in general, the use and threat of use of nuclear weapons is illegal.

We promote the elimination of all weapons of mass destruction and actively support the universalization of all treaties which either contribute to or specifically lead to that end.

We oppose the manufacture, testing, deployment, stock-piling, threat of use, or use, of nuclear, biological, chemical and other weapons of mass destruction.
